• BENEFITS

  ​Fortify is a systemic triazole fungicide with protectant, curative and eradicant activity against a broad spectrum of diseases in cereals and ryegrass seed crops.

  It has long lasting activity and will provide up to 5 weeks disease control, preserving valuable green leaf area.

  Fortify is an ideal tank mix partner for strobilurin fungicides, such as azoxystrobin.

  Fortify is compatible with most commonly used fungicides, herbicides and insecticides.

   

  Fortify is effective against major diseases including

  Wheat - stripe rust, leaf rust, speckled leaf blotch, glume blotch and ear disease complex.
  Barley - scald, net blotch and leaf rust.
  Ryegrass seed crops - crown rust and leaf rust.

• APPLICATION

  Fortify is best applied as a preventive or at the first sign of disease. Fortify is taken up by the leaves and stems of treated plants and translocates upwards and outwards to provide some protection of new growth. Best results will be achieved with good spray coverage of the treated crop.

  Ground Application - use a minimum of 150 litres of water per hectare.
  Aerial application - use a minimum of 60 litres of water per hectare.

  Use higher water rates in dense or advanced crops, especially under dry conditions.

• MODE OF ACTION

  Fortify is a systemic triazole fungicide in the DMI group of EBI fungicides. It acts by inhibiting the production of ergosterol and interfering with the membrane integrity in the fungal cell. It has some effect on spore germination, significant effect against fungal mycelium and in certain cases on sporulation.

• PACKAGING

  • 2 x 10L packs per Outer (box).

• STORAGE

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Store in accordance with NZS8409 Management of Agrichemicals.
  • Store in original container tightly closed in a locked, dry, cool area, well ventilated away from foodstuffs, fertilisers and seeds.
  • Stores containing 100L of Fortify are subject to signage. More than 100L require emergency response plans and secondary containment.

• SHELF LIFE

  When stored appropriately this product should show no significant degradation for two years from the date of manufacture. Contact us for further information about the use of any product that is older than this.

• MIXING

  Add the required amount of Fortify to the spray tank partly filled with water and maintain gentle agitation through filling and spraying. Can be tank mixed with most commonly used fungicides, herbicides and insecticides. Observe the use directions on the label of mixture partners before applying.
