Important Information

  • BENEFITS

Controls the most important diseases in beet crops; rust, powdery mildew, Cercospora and Ramularia leaf spots. Beetrizole contains two active ingredients that both offer protectant and systemic activity for use as a preventative treatment for disease control in fodder and sugar beet.

Beetrizole maximises green leaf retention and can be used up to two times per season.

  • APPLICATION

Betrizole can be applied through all conventional ground rig and aerial spray equipment correctly calibrated to achieve good coverage of target surfaces. It is essential that good coverage of the total leaf canopy is achieved. Use at least 200 litres/ha for ground rigs and at least 80 litres/Ha via aerial methods. Do not spray over or onto any water bodies. The chosen spray volume and the sprayer set up and operation may need to be changed as the crop grows and matures. Always read the label or refer to your Ravensdown Agronomy Technical Manager.

  • MODE OF ACTION

    • Beetrizole contains trifloxystrobin, a QoI (mode of action group 11 fungicide) plus cyproconazole a DMI (demethylation inhibitor) mode of action group 3 fungicide.
