We engage frequently with industry groups, government advisors, and directly with local and national government to contribute to more practical and pragmatic legislative and regulatory processes. In the last few years, there have been many legislative changes affecting farmers that have required our contribution, including climate change action and freshwater regulations.
We often make submissions in collaboration with other businesses, or with industry groups such as the Sustainable Business Council and the Fertiliser Association of New Zealand.
