Annual Meeting 2017 - wrap up
Our 2017 Annual Meeting was held at 6:00pm on Monday 2 October, at the Timaru Southern Trust Events Centre.
Shareholders turned up in Timaru to hear about the contrast between the Ravensdown that was set up 40 years ago and the Ravensdown of today. Chair John Henderson outlined company performance in the past year and expanded on the co-operative’s statement of purpose: to enable smarter farming for a better New Zealand.
CEO Greg Campbell outlined how Ravensdown was helping farmers to reduce their environmental impact and optimise value from the land. He explained five strategic priorities:
- Enabled people
- Science
- Technologies and services
- Quality agri products
- Trusted and leading
This year, Ravensdown has produced an Annual Report which contains all of its financial and statutory
reporting obligations, and a separate Stakeholder Review which reviews its performance in areas relevant to its stakeholders.
