Take a look at the status of our products and services.

Updated 24/1/2021

With the country having moved to the red traffic light we continue to operate with the wellbeing of our customers and people being top of mind.

All our staff visiting on-farm are fully vaccinated. If you are expecting a farm visit and feel unwell, are awaiting a Covid-19 test result, are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms or have been asked to isolate, please reschedule or change your meeting to an online meeting. Visiting staff will ask for proof of a vaccine pass, please do not be offended.

Our team is safe and working hard to ensure our business remains open. We have products in stock, manufacturing is continuing, and shipments continue to arrive.

We’re proud to be helping farmers create food that the country needs and determined to do so safely and follow Ministry of Health advice.

Customer Centre

Our Customer Centre is still open Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm to help with questions and to process orders.

  • Order cut off time is 12 pm each day
  • Delivery lead time is expected to be 4-6 days after the order was placed
  • Where possible, we encourage the ordering of agrochemicals and seed requirements together. We will then deliver these products together
  • Please ensure you provide a contact name and cell phone number so the driver can call prior to making a delivery. This is to ensure:
    • Someone will be available to unload the order (where this is required)
    • The driver knows where to deliver the order on your property
    • Access is available for a 6 wheeled delivery vehicle

Please be aware that due to disruptions in the supply chain deliveries may take longer than usual in some regions.

Lime

Soil testing

We are operating under reasonably normal conditions, with soil testing being carried out in a contactless way. Please talk to your agri manager to discuss any alert level restriction and how we can help you or contact the customer centre. Due to restrictions testing may take longer than usual.

Water, apple mineral, dry matter, feed quality, essential plant and essential soil testing will continue to be processed through the laboratory. These samples will be prioritised and it is likely that turn around time will be impacted.

If you wish to drop off a sample for testing please scan in or sign in to our contact tracing system and keep a 2m distance from all staff and other customers, wear a mask and follow good hygiene practices.

Silo repairs/maintenance

At the red alert level Ravensdown and its contractors do not undertake any maintenance on silos unless safety is at stake. If your silo requires urgent repair (for example if there is a health and safety risk) we will discuss with you repair options and/or arrange alternative methods for delivery and storage of urea. At the orange alert level, we can resume maintenance as per usual. Please contact the customer centre. Due to restrictions servicing may take longer than usual.
