BENEFITS
Pasture Guard® Bentazone is lucerne and clover safe making it suitable for very young pastures containing seedling clovers or establishing lucerne stands.
It is very effective on some hard to kill weeds such as seedling chamomiles, cleavers, nettles, nodding thistles, storksbill, and a wide range of broadleaf weeds in new lucerne and pasture, allowing the pasture to establish in the paddock.
It controls many invasive species and prevents establishment of many weeds -
APPLICATION
At all times you should refer to the Pasture Guard® Bentazone label.
Rates vary from weed species and whether the plant is a seedling or established plant. Pasture Guard® Bentazone can be tank mixed with most commonly used herbicides. -
MODE OF ACTION
Bentazone is absorbed mainly by the foliage and inhibits photosynthesis in susceptible plants. Legumes such as clover and peas are not susceptible to bentazone.

STORAGE
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store in accordance with NZS8409 Management of Agrichemicals.
• Store in the original container, tightly closed, in a locked, dry, cool area away from foodstuffs, fertilisers and seeds.
Stores containing 1000L of Pasture Guard® Bentazone are subject to signage and secondary containment, more than 1000L require emergency response plans.

SHELF LIFE
When stored appropriately this product should show no significant degradation for two years from the date of manufacture. Please contact your Ravensdown Account Manager, or our Customer Centre on 0800 100 123, for further information about the use of any product that is older than this.

MIXING
Mix required quantity in spray tank partly filled with water and maintain agitation through filling and spraying. Pasture Guard® Bentazone is compatible with AIM®, Pasture Guard® Nurture and Pasture Guard® MCPA 750 for increased weed control.
