We work closely with Agrecovery on an industry-wide product stewardship scheme for agricultural sources of single-use plastic. We also support Agrecovery’s One-Stop Shop which is a mobile recovery and recycling scheme working in all regions to collect a range of agricultural waste including fertiliser bags, agrichemical containers and balage wrap so that they can be recycled instead of buried, burnt, landfilled or lying around the farm. We encourage farmers to make use of Agrecovery’s One-Stop Shop events and recovery services for responsible disposal of farm waste, including Ravensdown-branded agrichemical containers and bulk bags. Agrecovery also occasionally undertake one-off farm gate pickups and can be contacted directly for that. In 2019, 4.3 tonnes of fertiliser bags were recycled through the scheme.
