At their recent conference held in Ashburton, South Island Dairy Event (SIDE) ran a workshop on strategies to work with the N-190 cap. The workshop offered an opportunity to hear about N-190 policy expectations, while also exploring strategies to improve on-farm efficiency and reduce N fertiliser use. Ravensdown’s Chief Scientific Officer Ants Robert joined host Hugh Jackson to talk science around soil and fertiliser management along with guest speakers Carina Ross (DairyNZ Policy Advisor) and Virginia Serra (DairyNZ Policy Lead Advisor).
