Important Information
Ecobait IP is a Biogro Certified slug and snail bait that has reduced risk to non-target organisms, including slug predators and farm animals.
Ecobait IP has a convenient 1 day withholding period for both food and feed crops and is a viable alternative where it is less desirable to use a metaldehyde bait.
Ecobait IP has the same bait characteristics and performance as Endure.
Endurable - the weather resistant bait is made from durum wheat in a unique formulation which is effective for up to 3 weeks, even in damp conditions that favour slug activity.
Visible – Baits are clearly visible in the paddock after application
Spreadable –Baits are identical in shape, size and density which provides an excellent spread pattern
Mixable – Ecobait IP is available at selected Ravensdown Stores and is usually mixed at 5 - 7 Kgs per hectare to provide 30 – 42 bait points per square metre
Accessible – Endure is available 24 / 7 by ordering through the Ravensdown Customer Centre and can be delivered free on farm within 3 – 5 working days. Endure is also available from selected Ravensdown Stores for collection or mixed with fertiliser
The uniformity and size of the bait has real advantages when broadcast spreading either alone or when mixed with Super Phosphate, DAP, Cropmaster products or N-Protect, ensuring a very even spread. This size and uniformity is also ideal for drilling or where it is required to be mixed with fertiliser or with seed.
Each individual pellet is very robust and will not shatter or break easily which means no dust and is very user friendly when mixing and handling.
Ecoabit IP is effective through ingestion and is more effective when slugs are more active under moist conditions.
Application
Scatter baits evenly using an appropriate applicator by ground. Can be either be broadcast alone or mixed with Ravensdown Fertiliser and broadcast through conventional spreading equipment. Ecobait IP can also be drilled or mixed with seed.
Mode of Action
The iron phosphate interferes with calcium metabolism causing a disruption to the digestion process of slugs and snails. Treated slugs and snails cease feeding so plant damage is quickly stopped but it does take some time for slugs to die and it is not so easy to find dead slugs soon after baiting.
Packaging
Ecobait IP is packaged in multi-walled paper bags.
42 x 15 kg bags per pallet (630kg).
Storage
Keep out of reach of children.
Store in the closed original container in a cool, well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight.

Shelf Life
When stored appropriately this product should show no significant degradation for two years from the date of manufacture. Please contact your Ravensdown Account Manager, or the Customer Centre on 0800 100 123, for further information about the use of any product that is older than this.
Mixing
Ecobait IP can be spread with fertiliser up to a 20 metre bout width when mixed with DAP and Cropmaster blends and up to 12 metres with Superphosphate.
